Brief About AP Physics Classes

Advanced Placement (AP) is a program in the United States and Canada created by the College Board (the makers of the SAT) that allows you to take special high school courses that can earn you college credit and/or qualify you for more advanced classes when you begin college. American colleges and universities give course credit to students as well as grant placements to those who obtain high scores on the examinations.

These days, about 2.8 million students take AP exams every year in 38 subjects.

There are four AP exams for Physics or AP Physics Exams are:

  • AP Physics 1
  • AP Physics 2
  • AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
  • AP Physics C: Mechanics

Key Benefits of AP Physics Classes

  1. AP classes are a great way to challenge yourself academically and show colleges that you’re serious about your education. Getting a 5 on an AP test shows that you are more advanced in a subject than 80%-90% of advanced students
  2. Its a way to express real academic interest in a certain subject. Taking the AP Calculus and AP Physics courses shows your seriousness about engineering and  the necessary skills to pursue it.
  3. Finally get u college credit for AP classes, which saves a lot on money and also reduces your study time in the college.

Our combined effort of proven teaching plus your smart work of learning will help you to score 5. For all your futher queries please contact :

    Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on your university goals:

    • AP Physics 1: Algebra-based. Covers mechanics (Kinematics, Newton’s Laws, Energy). Ideal for Pre-Med or non-engineering majors.

    • AP Physics 2: Algebra-based. Covers Fluids, Thermodynamics, and Electricity. Usually taken after AP Physics 1.

    • AP Physics C (Mechanics & E/M): Calculus-based. This is the “Gold Standard” for future Engineers and Physics majors. It is rigorous and requires applying derivatives and integrals to physics problems.

Yes. The College Board has updated the curriculum. Topics like “Fluids” have been moved effectively to AP Physics 2, and there is a stronger emphasis on rotational dynamics in AP Physics 1. We teach strictly according to the newest Course and Exam Description (CED) to ensure you aren’t studying outdated topics.`

You should be taking Calculus concurrently (at the same time) or have completed it. However, Prof. Slariya offers a specialized “Math for Physics” bridge module. We teach you the specific derivatives and integrals you need for physics before we apply them, so you never feel lost during a derivation.

FRQs are where most students lose points. Unlike multiple-choice questions, FRQs require “Paragraph Length Justification” and clear derivation steps. We focus on “structured scientific writing”—teaching you exactly how to phrase your answers to satisfy the AP graders and secure partial credit even if the final number is wrong.

You get the best of both worlds: Elite expertise at a fraction of US costs. Prof. Slariya is a McGraw Hill Education Author, meaning you are learning from a published expert who writes physics content for a living, not just a university student doing this part-time.

If you have a strong foundation, we recommend starting 4–6 months before the May exam. This allows time to cover the syllabus and dedicate the final 6 weeks purely to Past Year Papers (PYQs) and timed mock tests. We analyze your mock tests to identify your weak specific units (e.g., Rotational Motion or Electrostatics).
